Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  1. Responds to routine telephone requests which have standard answers; refers calls, visitors and incoming correspondence to appropriate staff.

 

  1. May compose, edit, type, duplicate and proof correspondence, reports and other confidential documents.

 

  1. Maintains accurate office records, including, but not limited to, employee and/or student absence records, purchase requisitions, statistical information and travel requests.

 

  1. Performs other related duties as required by supervisor.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. High school diploma or GED required.

 

  1. Shall have knowledge of business English, spelling, math, modern office equipment, business practices and procedures and software applications.

 

  1. Shall have the ability to work and communicate effectively with community, Board, students and staff members.

 

  1. Ability to speak Spanish and English fluently preferred.
