2 hours a day (Playground)/.5 hours a day (Crosswalk); 2.5 hours a day (Instructional Aide)
5 days a week / 184 days a year
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Sixty (60) college credits or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment exam required.
3. Previous experience working with students preferred.
4. Ability to work harmoniously with staff and students.

JOB GOAL:
To enable students, through meaningful playground leadership, enjoy the group interaction and physical exercise which are an integral part of the district educational program.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises students at play time and maintains a harmonious atmosphere on the playground.
- Organizes group games and activities.
- Assumes responsibility for play equipment.
- Takes part in in-service training programs.
- Directs movement of groups to and from playground.
- Performs other related duties as required by supervisor.

EVALUATION:
Performance of this job shall be evaluated by the Building Principal in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of classified personnel. |
