REPORTS TO:

Director of 21st CCLC Programming, Director of Curriculum

 

JOB GOAL:

Assumes responsibility for daily implementation of grant program requirements and programming, grant program management, and reporting of grant information as required by district, state and federal contacts as required.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Coordinate development, implementation, monitoring and revision of after-school and summer school program.
  1. Implement applicable district, agency and grant policies, procedures and regulations applicable to program. 
  1. Monitor certified and classified staff to support program and complete all necessary paperwork as required by state and federal laws.
  1. Project, track and balance budgets, to ensure that they comply with program and district financial policies, procedures and requirements
  1. Provide necessary support to school site administrators and coordinators
  1. Track measurable goals and objectives for programs as outlined in grant proposals
  1. Become and remain aware of the social, political, and educational context of the community as identified in the grant.
  1. Represent the school and the district as a liaison and advocate of the programs as described in the program requirements.
  1. Assists School Principal and building-level program coordinators with daily implementation of the grant program.
  1. Work with community and district partners to fulfill requirements of grants
  1. Provide the support and guidance necessary to ensure that program elements sponsored by other organizations are introduced smoothly.

  2. Organize project activities, training and development where appropriate
  1. Support project coordinators and evaluators by gathering student data; helping compose, distribute, and collect surveys; and other activities necessary for project evaluation purposes.
  1. Operates as the liaison between the Program Coordinator, Budget Manager, and Awarding Agency related to program compliance.
  1. Collect records of each student’s progress towards accomplishing the steps required through the program’s grant components.
  1. Provides regular status reports on grant implementation in conjunction with grant accountant reports.
  1. Prepares communications outlined by the Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendents in oral or written directions.
  1. Responsible for grant closeout, which includes assisting with assurance that all purchase orders will be paid &/or liquidated within 90 days of grant ending period and assurance that all expenditures (services &/or goods) were received within the grant award period.
  1. Coordinate bus departures with Transportation Director to ensure all students transportation needs are safely met.
  1. Coordinate snack schedule with Food Service Director for duration of program.
  1. Actively seek and positively promote community involvement and support in program planning to meet needs of children and community.
  1. Accurately maintain records required by state department and meet reporting deadlines.
  1. Make certain all employees sign in and out on time sheets and forward accurate records to payroll in a timely manner.
  1. On a regular basis, meet with business director and grants coordinator to ensure grant funds and expenditures remain within grant guidelines and the budget.
  1. Performs other duties as assigned or as judgment or necessity dictates.

                                                                                                                       

SUPERVISION GIVEN: 

Technical and functional consultation given to various staff as necessary.

Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

11-month part time work year.  Salary and benefits as established by the Board.

 

EVALUATION:

Performance of this job shall be evaluated by the Assistant Superintendent, in consultation with the Director of 21st CCLC Programming, in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of classified personnel.
